As the sun dips behind the hills of Sai Kung, the Steering the Course festival shifts into a more magical rhythm at Hebe Haven Yacht Club with one of its most welcoming highlights: Girls’ Night In. Inspired by our 2026 Mermaid theme, this special evening is designed for youth and newcomers who are curious about the sea, no experience required.
Girls’ Night In celebrates the idea that inexperience is not a barrier, but a superpower. The evening begins on the pontoons with relaxed, playful sailing and watersports, guided by a supportive team that puts fun, confidence, and safety first. It’s all about “splash and play”, discovering the joy of being on the water without pressure or expectation.
After the water session, the magic continues at the Garden Bar, transformed into a shimmering mermaid-inspired creative space. Through themed arts and crafts, participants connect with mentors, athletes, and each other, sharing stories and building friendships.
This is “Give to Gain” in action: by creating a space where girls feel they belong, we help grow a confident, connected next generation of women on the water. Come find your inner mermaid and let the tide carry you forward.
