Steering The Course Regatta 2026 returns to Hebe Haven Yacht Club with exciting new elements that reinforce its commitment to inclusive women’s sailing in Hong Kong. Sailing on PHS‑rated boats, the regatta builds on the popular All Female Division and introduces the new divisions—Lady Helm, Lady Crew and Open—to create more choice, flexibility and opportunity for participation.
The Lady Helm Division is designed to spotlight female leadership, with boats helmed by a woman for all races, while allowing mixed crews. The All Female Division continues to celebrate teams crewed entirely by women, fostering confidence, camaraderie and skill development. Newly added, the Open Division welcomes mixed teams with a minimum of three female crew members, making it easier for clubs, families and friends to sail together while supporting women’s progression in the sport.
Guided by the 2026 theme “Gain to Give,” the regatta is about more than racing—it’s about empowerment, connection and giving back. Women and girls can get involved as sailors, mentors or volunteers, both on and off the water.
